Recognition of German Citizenship

Family law

We provide advice in administrative, notarial, and court proceedings. This includes drafting marriage contracts, preparing documents for marriages and divorces, custody issues involving minors, and adoptions. We also handle proceedings relating to asset inventory, distribution, estates, wills, and gifts in administrative, notarial, and judicial contexts.

Contract and commercial law

We analyze contracts, review clauses in rental, labor, and consumer law, and provide support in setting up companies in Brazil, Portugal, and Germany.

Immigration law

For clients who wish to work or study in Germany, we provide support in applying for residence permits and answer questions about residence, health insurance, visa procedures, and related matters. We assist with residence permits based on family reunification, employment, or study—both in Germany and Brazil.

Acquisition of German citizenship

We handle applications for the determination or acquisition of German citizenship as well as inquiries regarding documents relating to German ancestors. Our location in Berlin facilitates research work and the procurement of relevant documents from German authorities (birth, marriage, and death certificates). We provide support throughout all stages of the process in close cooperation with the relevant authorities.

Inheritance law

We offer advice and representation in inheritance law – both under German and Brazilian law. We support you in estate planning, drafting wills, inheritance contracts, and powers of attorney, as well as in inheritance disputes. In particular, we advise on cross-border cases, for example when heirs or estate assets are located in both countries.
